DIRECTOR OF NURSING
RESPONSIBILITIES Responsibilities include ongoing supervision of the Nursing unit, as well as Nutrition Services. You will be an active member of an interdisciplinary and interdepartmental team to create efficient processes that meet the needs of the patients. As a member of the administrative team you will participate in decision making, policy determination and planning and operations of the hospital.
REQUIREMENTS Position requires a BSN degree, Masters preferred in Nursing with 2 years progressive leadership experience. 5 years clinical experience in rehabilitation nursing highly preferred.
Candidates should have exceptional leadership and management skills, excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Exceptional team building and problem solving skills are crucial to success in this position.
Applicants need to have or be eligible for a Nevada RN license and possess current CPR or BCLS certification. Preferred applicants will have certification in Rehabilitation Nursing (CRRN), and expertise in the adult acute inpatient rehabilitation population.
CHARGE NURSE, Full-Time, Night Shift Provides direct and indirect patient care in the medical setting. Communicates with physicians/Charge Nurse/co-workers, as appropriate about changes in patient’s clinical condition including results of diagnostic studies and symptomatology. Is able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Additionally, is able to perform general nursing duties in all departments with adequate supervision.
REQUIREMENTS: Licensure in the State of Nevada Current BCLS certification Previous charge nurse experience Prefer previous rehabilitation setting experience
REGISTERED NURSE, Night Shift Provides direct and indirect patient care in the medical setting. ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR:
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPY ASSISTANT Assists occupational therapists in providing occupational therapy treatments and procedures. May, in accordance with state law, assist in the development of treatment plans, carry out routine functions, document the progress of treatment, and modify specific treatments in accordance with patient status and within the scope of treatment plans established by the occupational therapists.
REQUIREMENTS: Licensure in the State of Nevada Current CPR or BCLS certification Prefer previous rehabilitation setting experience
OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST Responsible for the evaluation, planning, directing and administering of occupational therapy modalities and procedures of treatment in an effort to restore function and prevent disability following injury, disease or physical disability. Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning, while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities.
REQUIREMENTS: Licensure in the State of Nevada Current CPR or BCLS certification Prefer previous rehabilitation setting experience
PHYSICAL THERAPIST Evaluates and treats a wide variety of injuries, diseases and disabilities using physical therapy procedures and modalities in accordance with rules and regulations of the Physical Therapy Practice Act, and rules and regulations established by the State of Nevada, Board of Physical Therapy. Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the patients. Provides care under the supervision of the Director of Rehabilitation Services and in accordance with department policies.

PHYSICAL THERAPY ASSISTANT Assists physical therapists in providing physical therapy treatment and procedures.
