A veteran nursing executive, Deanna was named HealthSouth Desert Canyon's chief executive officer in October 2010. She most recently served as chief nursing officer of Oro Valley Hospital in Arizona.
Previously, Deanna was the regional chief clinical officer for Kindred Health Care in Phoenix, where she oversaw clinical operations for three long-term acute care facilities. She was also CNO at the 150-bed West Valley Medical Center in Caldwell, ID. Deanna also has held roles in clinical education, rehabilitation nursing, patient services and case management, and served on the adjunct faculty at various colleges.
Deanna holds Master's degrees in both Business Administration and Nursing, and is a member of the American College of Healthcare Executives.
Cef joined Desert Canyon in 2009 and currently serves as the Chairman of the Nevada State Board of Physical Therapy Examiners and is adjunct faculty at the College of Southern Nevada.
He received his Physical Therapy training at Utica College of Syracuse University and his MBA in Hospital Administration from George Washington University. His main interests are in geriatrics and wound care and he is Wound Care Certified.
Nancy has been employed with HealthSouth since 2006. She has more than 16 years of experience in the healthcare Industry and is enthusiastic and dedicated to the understanding of business development and is focused on educating the community on the benefits of acute rehabilitation.
Nancy earned a Bachelor's of Science in Business Management from the University of Phoenix and is currently pursuing her Master's in Healthcare Administration and Healthcare Informatics with an anticipated completion in 2011. Nancy is a member of Nevada Self Insurers Association and Risk Insurance Management Society.
Deborah has worked with HealthSouth since 2006 and joined Desert Canyon in August 2010. Prior to joining Desert Canyon, she was assistant controller with Hospital Corporation of America at their flagship Sunrise Hospital with 700 beds. Prior to her healthcare experience at various other companies, Deborah held accounting positions in the oil and gas industry for eleven years.
Deborah received her Bachelor's of Business Administration degree from Texas Tech University.
Tovah has more than10 years of service with HealthSouth and over 15 years of experience in leading human resources. She gained extensive experience, when she joined HealthSouth in October 1996 and then provided human resources leadership to open the HealthSouth Long Term Acute Care Hospital at Tenaya in 2001. Previously, Tovah was director of Human Resources for the Nevada State Contractors Board.
Kenneth began his career with HealthSouth in 2009 as an infectious disease pharmacist at HealthSouth Long Term Acute Care Hospital at Tenaya. He was appointed director of Pharmacy Services in July 2010. Kenneth has created a strong clinical oriented Pharmacy department focused on patient care and satisfaction. Prior to HealthSouth, he held positions as a Clinical Pharmacist in the intensive care unit, anticoagulation services, and general medicine floors at University Medical Center, Las Vegas. Additionally, he serves as a Clinical Pharmacy Instructor for the University of Southern Nevada School of Pharmacy.
Kenneth received his Doctorate of Pharmacy degree from Western University of Healthsciences, and a Bachelor's of Science in Kinesiology from the University of Nevada, Las Vegas.
